You Made This Happen - THANK YOU!!!

Reader, WOW.

I just wrapped up pork share sales for the season and ended up with exactly one half share left… which I'm happily putting into our own family freezer. 🙌

That means everything else sold.

And get this, our little farm:

  • Doubled our pork offerings this year
  • Sold more than twice as many pigs as last year
  • Is growing a business model that actually regenerates the land

None of that happens without YOU.

  • You’re not just buying pork.
  • You’re supporting a dream — a better way to raise animals, feed families, and steward creation.
  • You’re showing that YES, there is a future in small, sustainable, transparent farms.

And let me tell you something personal…

When I was in grade school, I was told the only way to get into farming was to be born into it or marry into it. That door was closed.
I was good with my hands, and people told me I should become a surgeon — my own family thought being a brain surgeon was more realistic than becoming a farmer. (How funny is that? And I didn't marry a farmer)

I was raised to value eating well, and deep down, I always knew I wanted to work with the land and build something real.

When we bought the farm, I heard it again:
“You’re going to fail.”
"You're doing it wrong"
“There aren’t enough people who care about regenerative agriculture.”
“It’s not sustainable.”

But I believe something different.
I believe there are enough wonderful people who care — people who want better for their health, their families, the animals, and the earth.

And this week, you helped prove that belief right.

I’ve been called a dreamer more times than I can count.
But this year? You showed me something powerful:

Dreaming isn’t the end of the story.
We can act. We can grow. We can build the future we want to see.

And we are. Together.

If you placed an order, I’ll be in touch personally early next week to confirm your butcher dates and details.

From the bottom of my heart — and on behalf of my whole family out here working these pastures — thank you.

With deep gratitude and excitement for what’s next,
Leah
